Learn about the latest Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) rules for flying "small Unmanned Aircraft Systems", otherwise known as drones, as a hobby or commercially.  All drone pilots are required to register with the FAA and pass an online test. This course will cover the requirements for The Recreational UAS Safety Test (TRUST) for recreational drone pilots and the FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Test for commercial drone pilots.  It will show you where you can and cannot fly, and how to legally fly near an airport.  Commercial drone pilots must know how to read an FAA Sectional Chart and aeronautical weather reports. This course will give you tips for buying a drone or how to do more with a drone you already have. It will also show you examples of drone photography. Youth 15+ may register.

Pre-registration required.
